Shi Yuqi To Play Li Shi Feng In the 2023 All-England Final
Birmingham: Shi Yuqi who defeated Lin Dan 21-19, 16-21, 21-9 to win 2018 All England Championships, will get a chance to claim his second title at the prestigious tournament on Sunday after beating Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia 21-19, 21-13 in the semi-final on Saturday.

“I had a tough opening to this year, but after this week, I started to believe in myself again,” said Lee.
“I doubted myself quite a lot over being such a high-ranked player, and was questing whether I can ever come back,” added Lee.
“I think I proved it in this tournament, I know I could only make the semi-final this time, but I believe I am getting better and better,” concluded Lee.
Meanwhile, after dropping the first game, Anders Antonsen who was plagued by injury over the last 12th months and has withdrawn from 11 out of 21 tournaments that he has registered since the beginning of 2022, came back from 6-12 in the second game to force a decider against China’s 23-year-old Li Shi Feng. Nevertheless, the Dane eventually went down to the World No. 14 Li Shi Feng 11-21, 21-19, 18-21 in a match that lasted one hour and 35 minutes.
In men’s doubles, a huge respect to “The Daddies” – Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan from Indonesia as they produced another classic match of their career against Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang of China on Saturday, which was also the most intriguing match of the semi-finals. The World No. 3 pair from Indonesia endured the spirited challenge and secured a superb victory over the young Chinese pair by winning 21-15, 19-21, and 29-27.

Ahsan/Setiawan will play World No. 1 and compatriots Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto in the final.
Alfian/Aridianto overcame He Ji Ting/Zhou Hao Dong 21-19, 21-17 in another men’s doubles semi-final.
